Why SVG?

Most QR generators export raster images that blur when scaled. Skylink QR exports true vector SVG—sharp at any size, from business cards to billboards, and ready for any design tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Skylink QR free?

Yes—no sign-up, watermarks, or usage caps. Optional donations help keep it running.

What is an SVG QR code?

A vector-format QR code. It stores the pattern as scalable geometry instead of pixels, so it never blurs when enlarged.

Why use SVG instead of PNG for QR codes?

PNG is a fixed-resolution raster image that softens when scaled up. SVG stays sharp at any size, which makes it the better choice for print and signage.

Can I use an SVG QR code for large-format printing?

Yes. SVG is ideal for billboards, banners, and window graphics because the code stays crisp at any print size.

What can I customize with Skylink QR?

Foreground and background colors, plus a square, rounded, or circular frame. Export vector SVG for print and high-res PNG for screens.

Will my SVG QR code work in Figma, Illustrator, or Canva?

Yes. Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and most design tools support SVG.

What happens if I change the URL after printing?

Changing the URL changes the QR pattern, so you need to export and reprint. Colors and shape can change without affecting the pattern. For signage you can't reprint, encode a short link or redirect you control.
